Sometimes it's about the aesthetic (dark academia). Sometimes it's about straining those ship dynamics to the extreme (Pacific Rim). Maybe life is hard and you need to exorcise something (unemployment/coporate slave AU). Or perhaps you are so in love with the world you want to see Seventeen in it. Shakespeare, My Hero Academia, RuPaul's Drag Race. No problem - just give some context so anyone can fill it. Examples MinWon - Bittersweet Ah yes, the ambiguous Bittersweet MV. I'm curious to see anyone's interpretation of those MinWon scenes. Any / NCT AU Remember how Seventeen was supposed to be subgroups divided across Korea, China and Japan? What if that happened and the members were split up, only to reunite once a year. Or if they promoted like NCT - thinking about the graduation angst of NCT Dream, the ridiculous schedules of SuperM. Who is Mark and over-employed. Who is Shotaro and stuck in the basement? Wonhui X Link Click (Donghua) Link Click is a show about two guys who run a photography studio and time travels to help their customers. Wonwoo knows every event within 12 hours of a photograph being taken and Junhui can time travel and possess the photographer for 12 hours to complete a mission. Wonwoo speaks in Junhui's mind and tells him what he needs to do - where to go, what to say, what will happen. There's a rule that Junhui can't change the past because it will change the future :') but Junhui wants to :'). Would love to see WonHui investigating another sebong's story, or an exploration of their contrasting attitudes to fate (resigned vs headstrong - roles can be reversed if you want). Seungcheol hums as he looks down at his new Rolex, flicking his wrist a couple times to feel the weight of the Submariner model heavy on his wrist. He smiles up at Changmin, who rubs a warm hand over his shoulder, and says, “Thank you. It’s so pretty.”

“Only the best for the best,” Changmin replies, and it makes Seungcheol’s smile widen at the teasing lilt to his tone.

“What am I supposed to say when my nosy classmates ask?” Seungcheol muses aloud, even though he already knows the answer.

“That your daddy got you a new present?” Yeah, there it is. Seungcheol thinks his face twists into something sour, because Changmin barks a laugh and corrects, “That your partner got you a new present.”

That’s a lot better. Seungcheol nods, reaching up to caress the back of Changmin’s hand from where it gently rests on his shoulder. “No, but seriously. Thank you so much.”

Changmin shakes his head, smile thinning into something a little more serious. “You only have to thank me once, Cheol. I do this because I want to.”

Even then, Seungcheol feels like he can never properly express his gratitude for Changmin’s gifts. He leans back into Changmin’s chest, fiddling with the steel body of his new watch. “I’m gonna text my friends and show off my new toy,” Seungcheol declares, and Changmin lets him go after giving his waist a squeeze and planting a quick kiss on his cheek.

Seungcheol takes out his phone, the fancy iPhone 13 Pro Max that Changmin had surprised him with for passing his chemistry final a couple weeks ago, and snaps a photo of his wrist. He sends it off to Jeonghan and Jisoo, who immediately start asking him if Changmin is looking for another boy to splurge on.

“I have a reservation for dinner later, if you’ll join me,” Changmin murmurs, reaching forward to tuck a strand of hair behind Seungcheol’s ear. He can’t seem to keep his hands off of him, but Seungcheol doesn’t mind. It makes him internally preen, basking in Changmin’s attention and sporting all of his pretty gifts.

The gold chains draped over Seungcheol’s collarbone clink together when he shifts to look up at Changmin again, pocketing his phone to tap his lips in a silent request. Changmin leans down to press a sweet kiss to his mouth, and Seungcheol whispers, “I’d love to.”
