"Is the sex really worth it?" Seungkwan asks, not quite able to mask the judgement in his voice.
Joshua laughs. "God no. I'm the one who taught him how to fuck like he means it." He cried the first time I let him cum inside me.

Joshua smiles with teeth this time. “I like your button-up today, Seungkwan-ah.”
Seungkwan gives him a pointed look that Joshua knows to ignore when he changes the conversation but it's not like Joshua's ever going to admit to something he's known the answer to since the very first time that Choi Seungcheol fell to his knees in the middle of Joshua’s then one-bedroom that could barely accommodate Joshua, let alone all of Choi Seungcheol.
There’s a lot to learn from falling into a secret affair and being not in love with one half of the nation’s favourite on-screen partners-in-crime:
1. Acting lessons do not prep for the need to keep a straight face around the dick in your mouth, nor do they anticipate that one doesn’t need to be sad to be moved to tears.
2. Laundry for two isn’t the same as laundry for one, especially not when Joshua’s best buy is a faux fur coat Soonyoung gifted him on his birthday which unravels after the first time he washes it, while the other guy could probably mint his shirts for currency. Probably.
3. Airports are cold even in the middle of summer, in hot sweltering June—it’s always cold when you’re playing driver more than lover, a hand on the steering wheel and the other tilting the vanity mirror away from catching the reflection of the streetlights on the messy black head lolling onto the backseat.
4. Nothing is farther from perfection than the back of someone’s head, half a foot out of the door. Joshua’s never asked him to stay but if he did it would probably be to the ghost of a shadow on his bedroom walls.
5. Nobody’s a good enough actor to fake that kind of chemistry, the kind that has him pulling the plug on his cable only to pull it up on online streaming sites because even resentful, Joshua can’t deny that he wants a taste of it--all of it.
The thing Joshua doesn’t need to learn?
Nothing onscreen ever stays so and the easiest way to lie is to speak the truth.
Choi Seungcheol has put his everything into knowing how to put his back, and his heart into the fucking but it has never been for Joshua. Not for a second has there been any doubt who it has all been for.
