Can you believe it's the fifth year of 17hols? We are so pleased that this little corner of holiday madness is still able to generate creativity (and joy? and stress?) Over 4 weeks, we got 22 fills, 4 remixes, and a number of threats about revisiting some prompts ;)
*pulls up the spreadsheet* Once again, the favourite-est boy of 17hols is... Yoon Jeonghan! Featuring in 12 works which is just over half of all works. We are all clearly yearning pining military wives. Surprisingly, Wonwoo is not top 3 for the first time since 2021 (?!) No 2 is Seungcheol featuring in 8 works and Minghao in 5. Thank you to everyone who participated and commented and kept their creative spark alive ♡.
We must also send through special congratulations to:
kkulecru, for striking the most remixes once again in the final stretches (2); and
hwarium, another repeat offender, who wrote this year's longest fill heart in my chest on wings at 8k words.

unbelievable that this thing which started in 2020 is still happening in 2026?! I wonder if we will still be running 17hols in 2030? Lets see, as long as there is a community, I am willing to do this!! I want to especially thank everyone who commented this year, I could feel the passion and support and it makes me tender-hearted and proud to be part of this fandom. I've got a few more ideas rumbling so will definitely be revisiting the 2026 round later this year.
im so glad 17hols was here to help a semi burnt out writing machine to do a diy repair over (my) summer... one way or another i will definitely be a revisiter to the prompt list too!!! see you all next time!!!!
i cannot express how important and exciting 17hols is to me each year! i am always looking forward to it to help me get back into doing creative thinking and writing and i am so grateful to our lovely mods for keeping her running. i am secretly hopeful 17hols will keep running for many years to come! (i have more prompts sitting in docs and i am determined to make something out of them)
love u mods!! i had SO much fun and still want to do some fills hehe but it's been a while since i banged out some short fics and this was a beautiful respite from work stress and longer projects.
ever since i discovered 17hols & began filling my creative engines w previous years’ writing, it has been a personal goal of mine to contribute! what fun, thank you to the mods for hosting. hopefully i will be back & see you all next year!!
