Calling all readers, lovers of poetry and music, screen and stage. Quote collecters and lyric hoarders, unleash your archive. For this round, every prompt must contain a quote - you can combine them, add commentary, link to articles, do whatever. Steal from a literary classic, or copy WeVerse drama.

Rules
- Sign up is not required.
- Fills have a minimum of 400 words for prose, haiku-length for poetry (3 lines), and 400px by 400px for art (memes are also art). Other mediums are fine too!
- There is no maximum cap.
- Tag and provide content warnings at your discretion, but a good guide are the Ao3 four (Graphic Depictions of Violence, Major Character Death, Rape/Non-Con, Underage) and this list of common CWs (cr: SportsFest).
- NSFW/Explicit content should be tagged
- NSFW art should not be visible, please provide a link and a warning. You may crop the artwork and embed a SFW preview.

Minghao should leave.
He shouldn’t stay. Shouldn’t– can’t. He can’t stay. But maybe he can just… he can pretend for a little bit what it would be like, if he stayed. Would he be confused, annoyed, would he try and politely tell Minghao to go, or would he pretend to be fine with it?
In his head, there’s even a version where Mingyu is happy that Minghao’s still there when he wakes up.
Mingyu is warm, and the arm he’s got around Minghao’s shoulder is firm but soft. He’s snoring softly too, not loud enough for it to bother Minghao, but loud enough that he’ll tease Mingyu about it later anyway, just to get a rise out of him.
He can do that, but he can’t stay. He never stays. That’s not what they do, he and Mingyu. At least, it’s not what Minghao does– he hasn’t really asked Mingyu what he wants. He seems fine with this, fucking Minghao and watching the sun rise by himself afterwards.
Minghao doesn’t want to ask either, because it means that maybe they’ll have to stop, and that– no, Minghao doesn’t want to think about that.
He slips out of Mingyu’s grasp and starts looking for his clothes on the floor, tip-toeing around Mingyu’s dorm room like a thief. And maybe Minghao is a thief– it certainly feels like it, when he has to sneak out of Mingyu’s dorm and avoid being seen by his roommate, and he has to avoid waking up Jun when he gets back to his own dorm.
Not that Jun would care much what he’d been up to, but he’d be curious– he’d ask, and Minghao would have to tell the truth, because he never really could lie to Jun, for some reason.
And that means he’d have to talk about Mingyu, and what they are, and what they aren’t, and he’d have to try and define it in a way that makes sense, and give names to feelings that float around his chest unnamed.
He’d rather not have to go through that. So he leaves early, and he sneaks around, and he’ll let Mingyu fuck him again next weekend.
Minghao doesn’t know how to stay, but he doesn’t know how to stop either.
He’s not sure what he’d do without this, without Mingyu who always touches him so gingerly, like Minghao is something precious and something worth being gentle with. He doesn’t know what he’d do without Mingyu, who always fucks Minghao like he loves him. It's addicting, being wanted like that. He's never sure if it's real or not, though. And he's scared to ask.
Minghao is scared of a lot of things, it seems. Being loved, and not being loved, among other things.
