Re: [FILL] the rabbit in the hat

oh my GOD, this is absolutely everything wtf. This is so so good, I’m obsessed with every little thing from it, like the Worldbuilding, the weirdness, it’s so unflinching but careful too, and I’m OBSESSED with how it’s not quite sad, but not happy. Just fine. Oh my god

So many things stood out to me that if I started listing them I’d be quoting back the entire story. Like. The ominous domesticity at the beginning, tossing the spells into the tub (which is SUCH cool worldbuilding), the suddenness of the death (… angry at Jeonghan for dying quietly in his hospital bed while Seokmin had been buying Chapagetti at the convenience store on the third floor. ), the bit about Jeonghannie #2 being at fault every time Jeonghan’s resurrected body gives out. And Seokmin Laughing Along. Akdkjak, and I really loved how you did the resurrection. When he was talking with SK, I was totally expecting the classic, “lies that he won’t do it, does it anyways in secret, keeps it secret”, so when you pulled out the resurrection package… that’s SUCH a cool idea. And rooting it in real world debt. That’s is such a good concept and adds such a good layer of real world tension and heaviness, oh my god. And then the ENDING. How much is he Jeonghan, how much does it matter, how it’s just life as it was.

This really was so good. I’m at work (sry for typos) and thought that I’d just take a peek at it but got totally swept away…. I seriously love this. It’s so inventive and fresh and clever. I wish it was on ao3 so that I could bookmark, I’ll save the link somehow!! Thank you so much for writing and sharing!!!!
