AHHH this response!! it made my day!! i'm glad i was able to at least capture some aspects of the au, even if it wasn't quite what you imagined. in all honesty, i was at first really daunted by the prospect of an au that i wasn't familiar with, but i couldn't let go of the idea of reading memories through touch. i actually started two other aus with this idea before i got this down. there was a Shatter Me au and an end of the world one. but thank you for this prompt and this opportunity to challenge myself!! and your lovely comment of course, it is extremely validating :D have a good day!!
