Mingyu touches his face because his eyes feel funny. He’s sort of crying. He turns away. Out of the corner of one eye, he sees Seokmin come closer, raise his hands up, careful. nOT THE HEY HEY WHOA HORSE INTIMACY!!! oh christ. i had to reread this like forty-seven times because it needed to really sink in, the way it felt so grimy but there was something so honest there at the same time, like mingyu's perception of seokmin was hopeful enough that it rubbed off on me, even though actually the outcome looks pretty bleak. i'm always so impressed by the way you can set by a mood and this was no exception! thank you so much for sharing it with us ♡
