dear pb, i don't know if this was aimed at me, but well. the seokgyu dogboy-isms got to me. i hope this makes sense

“What the fuck is wrong with you?” is the first thing Seokmin says as soon as the door is closed.
Mingyu, for his part, just looks confused. “What do you mean?” he asks, cautious, like he’s thinking that Seokmin will jump out at him.
Good. Let him think that. Let him be a little nervous and twitchy when they’re alone in a room together, let him worry what Seokmin will do to him. Serves the smug bastard right.
“I- how are you still so calm? After what I said out there?” Seokmin starts pacing out of fury.
Mingyu smiles wryly, like he’s been expecting this question all along. “Because I know you’re not really like that.”
“You don’t know me.”
“The others do. I thought I’d done something wrong, but they told me that usually you’re really nice, and I thought I’d better believe them. And now you’ve proven my point. If you were really mean, you wouldn’t know it. But you know that you’re being hurtful to me, so that means you must know what it is to be kind.”
And maybe Mingyu’s trying to be generous but it just makes Seokmin feel worse because that’s what Seokmin is meant to be. Seokmin’s the nice one, not Mingyu, not this stranger who transferred from another base two months ago and has already taken Seokmin’s place among his friends. Seokmin worked so hard for every scrap of love and praise he got, and Mingyu’s taking it all away, not even caring that Seokmin now has nothing.
Can’t you see? Seokmin wants to scream. I’m pushing and shoving to make you react, because I know you can’t be that nice. I know that, underneath it all, you’re just as horrible as I am. So prove it already! Show your true colours! Let me hurt you! Why won’t you let me hurt you?
But Seokmin would sound stupid if he said that all out loud.
“Fuck you,” Seokmin spits. “You’re no better than I am. Stop trying to act like it.”
“Hey, if you’re worried about me being better than you, that’s your problem, not mine. I’m doing my best to be the bigger person here. If you’re that much better than me, prove it.”
Seokmin scowls, long and purposeful. Then he turns and walks out of the room, leaving Mingyu alone.
[FILL] let me push, let me shove
