This is so incredibly good, the establishment of Wonwoo's fear set so solidly at the beginning, the contrast with Soonyoung, the moments you chose to show and then the end. All of it was constructed sooo masterfully. And Wonwoo and Soonyoung's characters! The entire section where Wonwoo stopped telling jokes, facts was heartbreaking and then you perfectly rooted it in Soonyoung, tying the two so tight, it's such a compelling and lovely character dynamic. And Soonyoung in this!!! I loved this line so much: Soonyoung was still standing there, frozen in time as if paralysed until a reaction was fed to him, like a coin in a vending machine. He was perfect individually and as a Wonwoo foil, and then the END, the twist, “Isn’t it more interesting, to fall first, and see who would catch you?” god, I really really loved this, it is so excellent, I wish I could ao3 bookmark it asdfkkdf.
