RISA!! I was also looking at this prompt and thinking of Wonwoo because (1) wanting was enough (ARGH THE TITLE) and (2) he's really shares the vibe of banana yoshimoto's narrators where slightly unhinged things happen around them but they observe the world in this calm, plaintive way that's so very WW.
I really enjoyed this - it's like a snap of a short moment which really could have been. It drives me crazy that WW doesn't express the depth of the emotion from the prompt in the fill, but bc the prompt is /there/ and the title is /that/ I can't help but read in that immensity of want in every small detail that Wonwoo offers, and feeling all the more so wretched for that extra layer between the person and the text and the reader.
