Jeonghan always liked holding Joshua’s hands the most. He imagined it would feel like being able to hold hands with himself. This hit me like a punch to the gut... Jeonghan holding onto Joshua, who has clearly distanced himself, out of nostalgia for not only their past relationship/dynamic but also his own past self. Jeonghan looking at Joshua and seeing his own younger self and wanting back that simplicity! Wow. Truly the monster called nostalgia. I loved the recurring images of the jewelry, how it switched from earrings to The Ring. I loved the parallel of pretending to sleep. They still /know/ each other, despite the time and distance and sideways communication. It feels chillingly realistic. I'll be thinking about this one for a long time, thank you
