ao3 user tigerbox lj user skullchi i will always be your fan... so much to say about this that i loved!! first: you're able to create such visual and visceral scenes so quickly. so many images from this popped into mind in 4k: the glint of joshua removing his ear piercings in the passenger seat in jeonghan's peripheral vision, jeonghan pretending to sleep with his head on joshua's lap while joshua pretended not to wake him, the scene in the guest bedroom. truly insane!! i love how every scene is dipped in nostalgia and jeonghan's muted desperation of clinging to the past. both jeonghan and joshua pretending to be asleep and the other seeing through it... the kindness of playing along and also the ways they still know each other... and the lines that made me need to lie on the floor:

- He imagined it would feel like being able to hold hands with himself. just no words only ache and mind going brrrrr... the yjh/hjs mirror-isms of it all...
- His palms had the tiniest of indentations on them – Jeonghan wouldn’t realize until later when he couldn’t fall asleep that they were remnants from the car ride over, and Joshua had poked himself so hard gripping his earrings that they had left reminders on the surface. u r insane for this!!! /pos. the focus on hands really calling back jeonghan's inability to let go TT___TT
