prompts that haunt you

open mic: has there been a prompt from previous years that you dearly wished you filled?

For me it was florulentae's back in 2020, a quote from Larissa Pham:
Not the weight of the body but the fact of the body. Not the shape of the body but the needs of the body. How inconvenient to be made of desire. Even now, want rises up in me like a hot oil. I want so much that it scares me. I don’t know what I’m made of; I wish I did.

- and that linked to this incredible article called abject permanence which I read at least once a month every time I try and massage my WIP again: https://gay.medium.com/the-bodys-evolving-desire-f71e9ba90566

- "how inconvenient to be made of desire", this rearranged me, I'm burdened forevermore with this feeling until I exorcise it out of me (keysmash sounds)

- (stray italian greyhound plays in the background) I just really like the feeling in a story when someone is so reluctant to love but love hits them in the face anyway and they just have to get swept along with it

- this prompt really deserve a fill but I fear that if it comes from me it will take 5 years
