Prompt: AU based on the film Decision to Leave directed by Park Chanwook. The film is about a detective who falls in love with the wife of a murder victim. He suspects that she killed him, but begins to fall in love with her as he investigates her.
Another element of the film is the tension between the detective (Haejun) and suspect (Seorae) surrounding language and communication. Seorae is Chinese and mixes speaking Korean directly + using the voice translation on her phone to communicate with Haejun.
